Questions about cross-device sync

Install GoToTab, sign in with the same account on each device, and go Pro. Your collections, saved sessions, and closed-tab history sync to your account automatically, so the same tabs are available on every computer you use.

Yes. Save your open tabs as a session, then open GoToTab on your other computer and reopen that session in one click. It's the simplest way to continue browsing on another device without emailing yourself links.

GoToTab syncs the tabs you close (with history search turned on), storing their title, URL, and close time so you can search and reopen them from any device. It doesn't mirror Chrome's entire history; it keeps a focused, private, searchable log of what you actually had open.

Your synced data lives in your own account and is only used to serve your own searches and reopens. History sync is off by default and you turn it on explicitly; you can clear stored history at any time from Settings or your account page. See the privacy policy for details.

Yes. Sync, unlimited collections, and cross-device history search are part of Pro at $4/month. The free tab manager (search, switching, groups, and slash commands) runs locally without an account.

GoToTab supports Chrome today, so sync works across any computers where you run Chrome with GoToTab installed and signed in. Firefox support isn't available yet.

Stop hunting for that one tab.

Install GoToTab free and switch to any tab, save any session, and search your whole history, all from the keyboard.
